The Minister of Development and the President of Cantabria preside the inauguration of the two new lines of longitudinal and transversal cut factory in Santander, that implies an increase in the workforce of 45 to 60 workers
Santander Coated Solutions, the Cantabrian factory of the Network Steel Resources Group, the biggest steel supplier in Spain, expands the industrial installation of pre-lacquered steel with the bet in service of two new longitudinal and transversal cutting lines.
Cutting is a supplementary process that increases coating products range offered by Santander Coated Solutions together with strip and plates, opening this way new business opportunities in new sectors, markets and clients. In addition, it means the current staff increase which has already exceeded the agreement acquired with the government concerning the creation of 45 direct jobs.
The Minister of Development, Iñigo de la Serna, and the president of Cantabria Miguel Angel Revilla presided the opening of this first phase, showing once again their support to this company.
The appearence gathered in the factory facilities the vicepresident and advisor of Univiersities and Investigation, Enviroment and Social Politics, Eva Díaz Tezanos, the mayor of Santander, Gema Igual, advisor of Economy, Taxes and Employment, Juan José Sota, the advisor of Innovation, Industry, Tourism and Commerce, Francisco Martin and several general directors.
