We share very good news: We have obtained the ECOVADIS Silver Sustainability medal in all our Coated prepainting factories.
In our factories in Aranda and Aveiro Coated Solutions we have obtained an overall rating of 67/100, and in Santander Coated Solutions we are only one point away from obtaining the Gold rating with a rating of 69/100
EcoVadis is a trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, covering non-financial wide range systems, including environmental, employment and human rights, ethic and sustainable purchasing ones. The methodology for evaluating is based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Initia (GRI), United Nations Compact and ISO 26000.
The process involved analyzing all the in-house Corporate Social Responsibility management systems (RSE): policies, actions, resporting results, procedures, certificates, training materials etc.
So far, EcoVadis has qualified more than 75.000 business partners all over the world, mitigating risks from some of the world’s largest organizations with positive impact in environment. Thie will allow us to follow their guidelines and work on golden level, in line with our sustainability objectives.
In our market has become a strategic tool, and it is positively evaluated by all the agents in the sector. In our first certification we have been able to be in the 25% of companies that obtain this rating, having only a 6% beyond this rating
