Santander Coated Solutions (SCS), one of the benchmark companies at the Santander´s Port, has kept its industrial drive throughout a particularly complex year such as 2020 as Paulo Gonçalves, industry manager of the NSR group, explains in an in a published article by El Diario Montañés. He points out that SCS’s industrial activity remained at a high level throughout 2020, due to the good performance of demand for pre-painted coil in the European market. The high level of production reached by SCS throughout the year contributed to the importation of large quantities of raw material for the plant, through the Port of Santander, which helped it to maintain great dynamism in its activity throughout the year. The support of the plant workers and their suppliers was also key for SCS, which also promoted strategic projects related to innovation and the environment during 2020.
