Santander Coated Solutions has executed an ambitious project entitled “Inspection 4.0 of steel products through Vision based on Artificial Intelligence (Steel AIV 4.0), in Spain named: “Acero VIA 4.0”.
The project has made possible the implementation of a new optical system based on artificial intelligence assisted vision. A tool that provides added value in the quality control process, improving the surface inspection procedure of Coated Solutions steel products. This is a commitment to innovation that underpins our commitment to the highest quality standards of products, the development of new products and the improvement of our competitive position.
The ACERO VIA 4.0 project has been co-financed by the Innovation, Industry, Transport and Commerce Ministry of the Cantabria´s Government, through the Industry 4.0 COVID-19 grant line.
